Mrs. Margaret Nelson Morton, age 73, a resident of 69 Jones Lester Rd., Roxboro, died in the emergency room of Person County Memorial Hospital Saturday morning February 2, 2013.
She was a native of Person County and a member of Hyco Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Andrew Nelson of the home; one sister, Mamie Nelson Hicks of Roxboro; two brothers: Winston (Red) Nelson and Ernest Nelson, both of Roxboro.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Jones Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Booker, Sr. officiating and the Rev. Stanley Kearney providing the eulogy. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. At other times, the family will be at the home.
The body will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to the service.
